For many years Oliver Triendl has been active in concert programming and dramaturgy for a wide variety of projects in Germany and abroad.
In 2006, he founded the international “Classix Kempten” chamber music festival in Kempten, Germany, where he was artistic director until 2018. This festival was the only of its kind in Europe to specialise in rarely performed music by classical, romantic and contemporary composers. Many works were brought to the stage for the first time. Each year, several concerts were recorded and broadcast throughout Europe by Bayerischer Rundfunk, Deutschlandfunk Kultur Berlin and the EBU (European Broadcasting Union).
An overview of the repertoire and the participating artists can be found here:
Since 2003 he has been responsible for programming the two concert series of the cultural association Zorneding-Baldham. The programme concept for these concerts is also consistently focused on combining undiscovered works with highlights from the classical repertoire, as well as incorporating contemporary music. Many of the concerts at Zornedinger Martinstadl were recorded and broadcast by Bayerischer Rundfunk.
